A brief walk on the Florida Trail
Today I went for a walk on the Sopchoppy leg of the Florida Trail -- about a 4 mile round trip.
The wild azaleas are in bloom.
I had lunch at the confluence of Monkey Creek and the Sopchoppy -- this is a view of Monkey Creek. I didn't see any monkeys there, though.
Some lichen (I think.)
And a yellow flower I couldn't find in either of my wildflower books. It's probably something so common they don't even list it! But it is pretty.
