Torreya, New Year's Eve Day

I spent 12/30/05 at Torreya State Park and woke up New Year's Eve morning to a have delicious breakfast al fresco.
A small group of Georgia Wilderness Society folks were camped nearby and I invited myself to join them on a hike. There was some confusion about which way was North. Ron and Bonnie had a hearty discussion about it, and finally decided to simply follow the trail markers. A wise decision.
It was a great hike and a fine day.
