It sure is a beautiful day

Water is still low, but the river is so clear and beautiful. I have been watching for the return of the swallowtail kites. Susan Cerulean says the first ones come back on February 14, so I'm trying to prove her wrong.

I did see a lot of sparrows, a heron, and one woodpecker.

Bucky is ready to go back to the house.
